The plane took off pretty much on time and the flight was very smooth. We touched down at Santa Maria to refuel for 35 minutes and then we we're off again arriving at Grantley Adams Airport ahead of schedule due to following winds.
Passing though the Airport went smoothly. The air-conditioned coach to the hotel was quick and before we knew it we were unpacking. The apartments at the Magic Isle are far bigger than I remember. We have a 2 bedroom one as they had run out of singles when we booked. Janice freaked out because of the amount of bugs and flying insects inside! We soon killed most them and then went out for a late drink. It felt very late, but it was 8pm, however, my brain was telling me it was 1 am.
Anyway, a few Banks' later and the holiday had officially started. We ordered a flying fish sandwich and sat chatting to the barman.
A late visit to the local shop for a pint of milk and it was time for bed.
Drinks tally:
1 Bud, 1 wine, 1 champagne, 1 gin and tonic, 3 Banks.
