I have decided to try and drink less than yesterday, I believe in setting myself easy targets.
Took a walk to the Carib Beach Bar and had a cup of tea. On the way back we had a beer at Major Stop. The beer is cheaper here at only $3, it's $4 at the Beach Bar, and $4.50 at the Quayside.
Back at the Beach bar we had more beers and Janice returned to Magic Isle to pay the deposit for our excursions. Back at the Beach Bar we had a flying fish sandwich and a couple more beers. Robert, a local, had promised to cook us a breadfruit and he didn't let us down. We took it back to the apartment to eat it with some butter. Delicious!
Took a walk up the beach, it's very hot but there's a strong breeze. I'm trying to find out what time sunset is, but it looks like it's not for a while yet. I want to take some photos.
We got back to the apartment and read our books and talked about where to eat tonight. We've decided to go to the Greek restaurant "OPA!".
The food was good but I don't like the fact that they just add 10% on for service. It should be discretionary (they would probably have got a bigger tip).
We're back in the apartment now and we are so tired that we are going to bed at 9:30pm !
